Pennyfest Documentary

Pennyfest Documentary from Philip Formby on Vimeo.

Pennyfest is a local festival in Derby that was started by Dan Wheeler to raise money for Penny Wheeler (his mum). It has since been taken on by local promoters Hatch’d Magazine and Apples for Discos and escalated to become one of the biggest local gigs for many years. We made this short film about the festival and the amazing community spirit and optimism shown by the friends and family of Penny Wheeler.
